Introduction

• These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our studio facilities for music production, audiobook recording, podcasting, and related services. By booking our studio, you agree to comply with these terms.

Booking and Payment

• All bookings must be made through our online booking platform. a deposit must be made at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
• Non-Refundable Deposit: This is a non-refundable deposit. This deposit will be deducted from the total booking fee. In the event of cancellation by the client, this deposit will not be refunded.
• The remaining balance must be paid on the day of your booking, prior to using the studio.
• An additional £10 refundable charge will be collected along with the booking fees. This charge will be returned to you provided the studio is left in the same condition as when you entered.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. While the deposit is non-refundable, any additional payments made beyond the deposit may be refunded if cancellation is made within this period.
• Rescheduling: You may reschedule your booking without penalty if you notify us at least 48 hours  in advance. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

Studio Use

• Clients are responsible for their own equipment if they choose to bring it. The studio is not liable for any damage to personal equipment.
• Please respect the studio’s equipment and facilities. Any damage caused by the client will result in additional charges for repair or replacement.
• The studio must be left in the same condition as it was found. A cleaning fee may be applied if the studio is left in a disorderly state.

Conduct

• The studio is a professional environment. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or disruptive by the studio staff may result in immediate termination of the session without a refund.
• Clients and their guests must adhere to the studio’s policies regarding noise levels, smoking, and the consumption of food and beverages.

Liability

• The studio is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings, including equipment, while on the premises.
• Clients use the studio at their own risk. The studio is not responsible for any injuries sustained by the client or their guests during the session.

Confidentiality

• The studio respects the privacy of its clients. Any recordings or materials produced during your session will not be shared or used without your explicit consent.

Intellectual Property

• All intellectual property rights to the recordings produced during the studio session remain with the client unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Force Majeure

• The studio is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations if such failure is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or technical failures.

Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.

Amendments

• The studio reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes prior to their booking.

Acceptance of Terms

• By completing a booking, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
